How To Remove Shadow Effect From Mouse Cursor And Window Border

Shadow Effect In Window Border And Mouse Cursor: Shadow Effect is also a new feature in Windows 10. When you install Windows 10, You will get some shadow effect under some program windows like This Pc, Recycle Bin, RUN dialogue box etc.

You can manually enable or disable those shadow effect appearing under Windows border or mouse cursor with these easy steps.

Procedure To Remove Shadow Effect From Mouse Cursor And Window Border

1. Open RUN dialogue box and type "sysdm.cpl" (without quotes) and hit Enter.
OR Go to Control Panel -> System And Security -> System And Click on "Advance System Setting" on the open window.
2. It will Open the "System Properties" window. Then navigate to "Advanced" tab.
3. Now click on "Setting" under Performance Sections to open "Performance Options".
4. On "Visual Effects" tab, Under "Custom" section search for these two options

• Show shadows under mouse pointer
• Show shadows under windows.

5. Just Uncheck these two options and click on "Apply".
6. Now Click on "OK" and close all the open Windows.
7. That is it.

Note: If  you wish to see again the shadows under the mouse cursor and window border, then tick or checked those options on step 5.
